REAM · Pushing Architectural Visualization Towards Photorealism

PROJECT / REAM · PUSHING ARCHITECTURAL VISUALIZATION TOWARDS PHOTOREALISM

The Opportunity

For this residential development in Arlon, Belgium, the architecture was already defined.

Our challenge was different: how close could we bring its digital representation to reality?

This project became one of the examples of a capability BAMHUB had been developing for years: using advanced 3D not simply to visualise projects, but to make ideas and future environments feel remarkably real before they existed.

Pushing the Level of Realism

For the REAM project, we deliberately pushed the visual approach further.

Light, vegetation, surfaces, imperfections and the surrounding environment were treated with particular attention. We used assets and materials from Quixel Megascans, a technology built from high-resolution scans of the real world and widely used across architectural visualisation, games and cinematic production.

The objective was not to create an idealised architectural image.

It was to create something that felt as if it could already have been photographed.

Recognised by Quixel Megascans

The resulting work caught the attention of Quixel Megascans, which featured our imagery on its own platforms as an example of its technology being used in architectural visualisation.

For us, that recognition had a particular meaning.

By then, BAMHUB had spent years developing high-end 3D expertise across Luxembourg, Belgium and France, experimenting with new technologies and increasingly realistic ways of representing architecture, products and environments.

That capability subsequently became much more than a visualisation service.

Today, the same ability to make something that does not yet exist feel tangible helps us explore concepts, compare possibilities, communicate ideas and let clients understand what they are considering before committing to the physical result.

Before something becomes real, sometimes you need to make it feel real enough to judge it.

LET'S TALK

Bring us an idea, a problem, a property, capital, an existing business or a project already in progress. We first understand what is already there and then explain what we think should happen next.

The first conversation is free. If we believe BAMHUB can add value, we explain what we recommend, why we recommend it and what it would involve before sending a proposal.
