The same client was developing two different workplace environments: an office and a coworking space.
Both projects were still at a stage where the future experience was difficult to imagine.
Working alongside the architects and interior designers, BAMHUB was brought in to explore how each space could look and feel, contribute ideas around its practical use and make the proposed environments tangible for the client.
The challenge was not simply to visualise two interiors.
It was to interpret two different ways of working.
An office and a coworking space may share desks, meeting areas and common facilities, but they do not operate in exactly the same way.
A dedicated office can be organised around a known team, its routines and its working environment.
A coworking space needs to accommodate different people, different working patterns and a greater variety of interactions throughout the day.
The two spaces therefore needed different responses.
For the office, the work focused on creating a practical and coherent environment for everyday professional use.
For the coworking space, the experience needed to accommodate more flexibility, shared use and different ways of occupying the space.
Together with the architectural and interior design teams, BAMHUB explored how layouts, furniture, atmosphere and spatial organisation could support those different situations.
Our role combined visualisation with design exploration.
Rather than simply receiving a finished interior and reproducing it in 3D, we used visualisation as part of the collaborative process.
Ideas could be introduced, made visible, discussed and adjusted.
This allowed the client to move beyond plans and references and understand much more clearly what each environment could actually become.
The projects were developed collaboratively with the architects and interior designers.
Their architectural and interior expertise shaped the spaces, while BAMHUB contributed to the exploration of their future appearance, practical use and visual experience.
Realistic 3D environments became a common language between the different disciplines and the client.
Instead of discussing an abstract possibility, everyone could react to something they could see.
Two different workplace concepts emerged from the same overall project.
One responded to the needs of a dedicated office.
The other explored the more flexible and shared character of coworking.
The visualisations were the visible output, but their purpose was to help the client understand, compare and refine what those spaces could become before physical decisions were made.
This project illustrates a role visualisation can play beyond presentation.
When a space is still evolving, making it visible can become part of the design process itself.
It allows different specialists to collaborate around the same future, gives the client something concrete to react to and helps practical and experiential questions emerge before the space exists.
