Pulsaart by AGC

PROJECT / PULSAART BY AGC

The Opportunity

Pulsaart by AGC operates in a highly specialised technological environment, including antenna measurement and testing inside an anechoic chamber.

As part of a broader collaboration with Pulsaart, BAMHUB was asked to create a physical identification element for the space.

It could have been treated as a simple signage project.

Instead, we asked a different question:

How could a small physical element attract attention, create a recognisable landmark and already say something about the technology and environment around it?

What We Saw

The anechoic chamber already had an extraordinary visual language.

Its surfaces are covered with distinctive geometric absorbers designed for the technical function of the space. At the same time, Pulsaart's work connects with antenna technologies and space-related applications.

Rather than introducing an object disconnected from that environment, we used the environment itself as part of the concept.

The signage needed to belong to the space while still standing out within it.

The Concept

BAMHUB developed a sculptural totem using triangular forms inspired by the geometry of the anechoic chamber, combined with references to the technological and space-related universe surrounding Pulsaart.

The objective was both functional and experiential.

Visitors needed to notice it, recognise Pulsaart and intuitively connect the object with the unusual environment they were about to discover.

It could not be generic signage that might have existed anywhere else.

From Identity to Space

The totem formed part of a broader collaboration with Pulsaart by AGC.

BAMHUB also developed the Pulsaart logo and worked on other aspects of its identity and experience, including projects that remain confidential.

The same principle connected the different interventions: identity should not stop at a logo.

It can extend into the physical environment and help people understand where they are and what makes that place distinctive.

From Concept to Reality

BAMHUB took the visible element from concept and design through to production and installation.

Form, branding, materials, proportions and physical presence were considered together with the environment in which the object would ultimately stand.

The result was not simply a representation of an idea.

It became a real part of the space.

What Became Real

A relatively small request became an opportunity to create something specific to Pulsaart.

The finished element provides visibility and orientation while connecting Pulsaart's identity with the technological environment surrounding it.

Instead of adding conventional signage to an exceptional place, the place itself helped shape the answer.

The Impact

Not every project needs to be large to deserve deeper thinking.

A sign can simply carry a logo.

Or it can consider where people are, what they are about to experience, what should catch their attention and what makes that particular place different.

For BAMHUB, the scale of the output does not determine the depth of the thinking.

Even a small physical intervention can become more relevant, recognisable and memorable when it is shaped by the reality around it.

Reality-Shaped Concept & Experience Design

LET'S TALK

Bring us an idea, a problem, a property, capital, an existing business or a project already in progress. We first understand what is already there and then explain what we think should happen next.

The first conversation is free. If we believe BAMHUB can add value, we explain what we recommend, why we recommend it and what it would involve before sending a proposal.
