PROJECT / MOIEN

The Opportunity

Legal subletting could create value for tenants, but property owners needed a reason to say yes.

Moien had developed a rental model in which a tenant could legally sublet with the property owner's agreement, while the owner received a share of the revenue. The opportunity was to turn that business and legal logic into a product that different users could understand and use.

What We Saw

The challenge was not the number of features. It was making a complex relationship feel simple.

Tenants, property owners and people looking for a place to stay entered the same system with different needs. Behind the experience sat rental logic, legal requirements and different user journeys. The complexity needed to remain inside the product rather than being passed on to the user.

The Concept

One digital platform connecting three rental needs inside one coherent experience.

The product brought short term rental, long term rental and legal subletting together. Instead of treating them as disconnected services, the concept connected them around a structured model designed to create value for both tenants and property owners.

The Experience

A complex model needed to feel clear, useful and trustworthy when it reached the user.

BAMHUB translated the business model into the product structure, user journeys, interactions and interface.

Experience, Product Design and application development were developed together so the digital product could support the business model rather than simply sit on top of it.

From Concept to Reality

The business idea already existed.

The role was to turn it into a product people could actually use.

Moien led the business concept, rental model, operations and fundraising. BAMHUB led the product experience, Product Design and application development. A legal partner developed the legal framework and contracts.

Together, these different areas became one working digital product.

Who Made It Real

Different expertise came together around one product.

Moien led the business concept, rental model, operations and fundraising. BAMHUB led the product experience, Product Design and application development. A legal partner developed the legal framework and contracts, with shareholder involvement. Each party remained responsible for its own area while contributing to the same product.

WHAT BECAME REAL A complete product was delivered across iOS, Android and Web.

EUR 415K was invested in the product, including a EUR 110K public grant in Luxembourg. Moien was selected by Village by Credit Agricole. The result was not a prototype or a presentation of what the platform could become. The core digital product was built and delivered across three platforms.

The Impact

The project moved from a business model on paper to a product capable of entering the market and attracting external support.

Building the complete product gave Moien something concrete to take into its next stage. The venture secured a EUR 110K public grant in Luxembourg and was selected by Village by Credit Agricole. With iOS, Android and Web delivered, the project could move beyond product creation toward commercialisation, fundraising and growth. At this stage, the demonstrated impact is product and venture readiness rather than market adoption, as commercial performance data is not yet available.

WHAT HAPPENED NEXT With the core product built, the project moved from creation toward commercialisation and growth.

Moien moved into its fundraising and commercial launch phase. The founder described a EUR 500K round as open, with a stated EUR 2M valuation and letters of intent from international investors. The planned use of capital was 55% Marketing & Sales, 25% Growth Team, 12% Product & Features and 8% Operations & Compliance. The next stage focused mainly on demand, growth and bringing the product to market.

LET'S TALK

Bring us an idea, a problem, a property, capital, an existing business or a project already in progress. We first understand what is already there and then explain what we think should happen next.

The first conversation is free. If we believe BAMHUB can add value, we explain what we recommend, why we recommend it and what it would involve before sending a proposal.
